So, whenever I have an interview, one of the interview questions is "What if one of your teamates doesn't do his/her work?" I guess, this is one of the reasons raises a conflict. My answer to the question is, if this is a team project, I will do his/her work. I don't mind to do double work, because I can learn more and develop more experience.
During Phase 0, there were some pairs I met, they actually less strong in neither html/css nor ruby/js programming. I am not good either, but I believe hard working help. For instance, there are some common features that appear in most of the website. However, some pairs try to avoid to do so, because they think that they need to explore the documents to figure out how to complete it, which will take longer time.
In fact, I don't really care whether my pair will try to complete the features or not, but the thing is that my pair seems dislike what I am trying to do, because he/she thinks it's a challenge for him/her. It actually annoys me a little bit.
My solution for the conflict is that I ignore the conflict. I don't like to talk about it or put on bad face, because I know it won't help. However, I will share what happened with my boyfriend which comforts me a lot.
Until now, I didn't find the better solution to deal with this kind of conflicts yet.
